Nickel rose for a second day, nearing a one-month high, as concerns mount that Indonesia’s ore-export ban will reduce supplies.
ENERGY WRAP:
West Texas Intermediate traded near the highest price since October on signs that strengthening demand is depleting inventories in the U.S., the world’s biggest oil consumer. Natural gas rose to a seven-month high in New York on speculation that frigid weather will lead to bigger-than-normal declines in stockpiles of the heating fuel.
