BASE METAL WRAP:
Copper dropped for the first time in six days, paring a weekly gain, as record output in China spurred oversupply concerns and amid speculation on the timing of stimulus cuts by the U.S. Federal Reserve.
ENERGY WRAP:
West Texas Intermediate crude headed for a weekly drop on speculation that the Federal Reserve will slow the pace of economic stimulus in the U.S., the world’s biggest oil consumer.
PRECIOUS METAL WRAP:
Gold halted two days of losses on speculation the price decline toward a five-month low may lure buyers, countering concern that the Federal Reserve may reduce stimulus as soon as next week. Silver fell to a one-week low.
